Why is an error like this popping up when I start the game? What's Denuvo Anti-Tamper?

If you're seeing this error when launching a game, forget about playing that game for free. It means that the game has Denuvo Anti-Tamper, which doesn't have any public (universal) bypasses.

What's Denuvo Anti-Tamper?

Denuvo Anti-Tamper is a digital anti-piracy technology used in PC video games.

It's designed to make it much harder and slower for pirates/crackers like us to crack or reverse-engineer a game's executable file.

It works by encrypting and obfuscating parts of the game's code, acting as a protective layer around the game's existing Digital Rights Management (DRM) system (like Steam's or Origin's).

How do I fix the “Content Configuration Unavailable” error?

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache and delete the appinfo.vdf file.
